Dimitris Georgakopoulos came to America to study. After working at PwC and Sapient, he started his own startup in 2004, trying to solve a problem that was 100% his own. Although it took him more than a year to find his first customer, he grew the business so much that it sold for $580 million in 2019!

A short time later, he returned permanently to Greece and created -among other things- the Helidoni Foundation which seeks to support ideas, actions and businesses that have a social footprint.

In his conversation with Marko Veremis, they talk about the life lessons he learned from the experience of building a company from scratch, how he has been working remotely since 2009 (!) and, of course, the meaning of life.
